Desktop Imaging Ltd was established in 1997 as a sister company to New Zealand Micrographic Services – a specialist Preservation Microfilm Company founded in 1990.
Desktop Imaging is a privately owned by New Zealanders and is one of the largest – and arguably New Zealand’s best – imaging (scanning) bureau specialising in providing imaging solutions.
Solutions involve using scanning for the conversion of paper or microform-based records to digital format, and using a suite of smart scanning software to automate a full range of document capture processing from scanning and image optimization, data recognition, data validation and verification, and formatting data for delivery to the final application.
