Dunedin City Council Property File Digitisation Project

This project digitised the Councils hardcopy and microform property records and integrated them into their DataWorks EDRMS.

Size and Scale - ~1,700,000 Images including: Blueprints; Aperture Cards, Microfiche, Hardcopy Paper Property Files

Data type/quantity - Files were delivered as TIF’s with a combination of Group IV and JPEG compression.  Some material was scanned in colour (blueprints for example) to retain the fine detail that would have been lost in black and white.  The total estimated file size is 145GB.
