We MUSTACHE you a question... | November Newsletter

Welcome to the November Newsletter! This month we celebrate moustache growth for mens health awareness, share photos from the Annual ALGIM Conference, and talk about how our automated solution can benefit your Accounts Payable process.

As an extra treat, we've asked Alistair Eichler and Stephen Beighton about their hidden talents and go-to karaoke song...

Cloud Based Services, Innovation and Business Automation is a big topic in smart processes, as we race into a growing digital world. The Annual ALGIM Conference this year, was themed around ''Going Smart: A World of Possibilities'', which is continuing to support digital transformation.

Stephen Nott, Beighton, Barlow and Andy all attended over the course of the three days, sharing their dose of software and workflow solutions, technical discussion and chat, over a coffee in a very special Desktop Imaging keepcup. (The coffee cart saw a lot of these!)

Dr Jordan Nguyen, a world-renowned digital innovator and producer of documentaries on Discovery Channel, ABC and National Geographic, opened the event in TSB Arena, followed by plenty of other informative Keynote presentations covering innovation, technical solutions and possibilities.

Our special guests, Martin & Kelly from DocuSign, also came along for a day to talk about digital signatures. Read more about how DocuSign works here.

MOVEMBER | We MUSTACHE you a question...

This year, Desktop Imaging is participating in Movember - an opportunity to grow a moustache to raise money and awareness for mens health. The funds raised each year go towards programmes targeted at anxiety, prostate cancer, suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

Our Technical Support Specialist, Karl Perkins, and our Developer & Database Administrator, Stephen Hammond, are getting behind this cause by growing a handsome mo! You can click the link below to donate and support them.

The fresh moustaches will be revealed in the next newsletter, so we will leave you with this joke for now:

What month comes after Movember?

Our ICT Support Specialist, Alistair Eichler, has a keen eye for programing and a secret talent for baking. With his big smile, he's an enthusiastic addition to the ICT team!

What is your biggest pet peeve in the office?
People asking me pointless questions.

How many coffees do you consume in a day?
0. (2 hot chocolates)

If you could be an animal, what would you be?
Im already an Ape according to most people I know - because of my height (and lack of hair on my head).

What's a hidden talent of yours?
Sarcasm - but im bad at keeping it hidden.

What's your favourite way to unwind after work?
Video games.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Wraps - because of the endless options, my favourite being steak.

Go-to karaoke song?
I don't sing - though my family owns every PS2 Singstar game.

Stephen Beighton, is our coffee-loving, bubbly Sales Manager. We've asked him a few questions, so you can understand why we like to have him around!

What is your biggest pet peeve in the office?

Running out of coffee beans... and new projects.

How many coffees do you consume in a day?

Who's counting? maybe on average 3, depending on the number of meetings.

If you could be an animal, what would you be?

Some days it changes depending on the mood, but seriously it would have to be a Dolphin. Loves to explore, has some independence but is ultimately a team player!

What's a hidden talent of yours?
Brewing craft beer and drinking it, which I call multi-tasking!

What's your favourite way to unwind after work?

Favourite among many, would be heading to the golf driving range. Sooo good.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Beef - but can you please add chips & gravy?

Go-to karaoke song?
Margaritaville, released in 1977... Sadly showing my age.

An automated Account Payable solution provides you with the ability to manage, control and process your Accounts Payable documents.

Our clients say the automated process allows them to quickly apply document management technology to their Accounts Payable processes, gaining them control, cost savings, quality management and scalability. Taking the human element out of the decision making process reduces error, and decreases the time it takes to process documents.

Process Automation: Integration and RPA.

FileBound is pleased to present the next in their online webinar series, Process Automation: Intergration and RPA. During this half hour session, you'll gain an insight into how integration can fit into your Business Process improvement plan. With special guest Kris Elliott from Upflow Solutions, you'll discover what RPA means, what it looks like and what opportunities come from it.

Explain what to consider when embarking on an automation journey and provide commentary on the importance of implementing a solution rather than just a product.
